Jonathan L. Stein received a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Sciences in 1990, and worked in the computer industry for seven years designing and developing client-server trading systems for three of the world’s top five stock markets. Thereafter he attended law school on a scholarship where he served as Research Editor of the Law Review, and graduated magna cum laude in 2000.
Mr. Stein worked for several years as a Litigation Associate at one of the oldest firms in New York after graduating from law school. Afterwards he handled appeals for a distinguished solo practitioner before opening his own general civil practice.
In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Stein also offers Mediation services. He is a member of the ADR panel for the U.S. District Court of Middle Tennessee, and is listed as both a General Civil and Divorce Mediator (Specially Trained in Domestic Violence Issues) by the ADR Commission pursuant to Rule 31 of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
